Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I try to create a non-judgmental and safe environment where your particular story can unfold at its own pace. I do so with empathy and a sincere interest in your desire for healing and change. Together, we will review maladaptive family patterns and challenge the thoughts and behaviors getting in the way of your desired growth. We will work together to uncover strengths and resources and develop strategies and tools to move forward in strength and self-reliance. Taking into consideration your temperament, age and issue, I customize an eclectic and personalized approach, borrowing from different theories and utilizing various techniques such as talk therapy, role-play, art exploration, and sand tray. If you are ready to participate in life in a new way, I would be honored to go on that journey with you. Call me for an appointment today, if I am not the right match for you, I will be happy to help you find the right therapist for your needs.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
