Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
www.OberlyWolf.com Credit cards accepted through PayPal and Venmo I believe in people and their ability to fix their own lives. I cannot tell you your life. You tell me about yourself, and I will assist you with making the changes that YOU want to make. I believe in therapy, and I know that it works. In my 10+ years as a therapist, I have helped many people. I have life experience. I don't believe that I am the right therapist for everyone. I KNOW that I am the perfect therapist for some people. Call me to see if we are compatible. If we aren't, we'll know and I can refer you to other therapists in the area. You are in control of the therapy. You may not want to tell me everything initially. It may take a while for you to trust me. You may not be sure that I or anyone can help at all. I am a psychodynamically trained therapist. However, I use several different modalities to help my clients. As you are a complicated person, your therapy is complicated too. Talking to someone will help. I will help. If you are in pain or distress, please don't suffer in silence. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Please call me or another therapist today.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
San Rafael, CA

My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, supportive, and interactive. My work is based on establishing a safe environment where trust can grow. I view symptoms as a way to call attention to unrecognized needs and unexpressed feelings. The goals of treatment include; learning to identify and express emotions, learning to set appropriate boundaries, developing skills such as self-soothing and impluse control and improving self-esteem.
