Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I absolutely love my job as a therapist and truly enjoy being able to help others reach a high level of satisfaction in their careers and in their personal relationships. My approach is mostly collaborative-I believe in tailoring my treatment plan for each individual patient with their input and coordinating care with other health care providers, when appropriate. I specialize in the treatment of couples conflict, stress-management, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual dysfunction, and mood disorders, although I also have experience working with grief, personality challenges, vocational transitions, family life transitions, and substance use. Sometimes all that is needed for a person to make lasting changes is a little bit of guidance or the support of someone who will listen and provide unbiased feedback. Let me be that sounding board for you, your relationship, or your family.
