Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I empower and support my clients in their desire to acknowledge, deal with and move through painful feelings. Lessening feelings of depression, loneliness, anxiety, and confusion allows my clients to enjoy more meaningful, calm, and purposeful lives. I work with a broad range of clients but specialize in counseling the older adult as well as counseling those who are dealing with issues of loss and grief (death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job, loss of health). End-of-life decisions are confusing and can be very frightening for both the person who is ill and his/her family members. Often times, clients need help in finding ways to discuss these matters with family.

During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
