About My Practice

Office Hours
By appointment. Evening and Saturday hours available.
Services
I help individuals, couples, and families draw upon their strengths to overcome problems like depression, anxiety, and relationship conflict. My style of therapy is collaborative and interactive. I’ll approach our conversations with curiosity and respect, offering up questions and reflections so that we can explore your story in new and untold ways. I specialize in supporting people who are facing infertility, perinatal loss, and other reproductive challenges. Whether you are grappling with the decision to become a parent or experiencing the particular challenges that come with parenting after infertility, I want to offer you a space where you'll feel heard and understood. My office is located in Oakland, near Kaiser Hospital and the Piedmont Avenue business district. I offer a flexible fee scale and Saturday appointments in hopes of making therapy available to all.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
