Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
All people struggle, and everyone has the capacity for change/growth hidden within themselves. I'm most successful working with those who are interested in meeting this duality with hope and curiosity. By building a trusting, safe and consistent relationship, together, I believe I can help you unlock or uncover your best potential and use it to meet your own goals. My strength is in my ability to hold peoples' whole selves carefully, creatively and with compassion. I provide a humanistic, person-centered and psychodynamic approach to working with problems of depression, anxiety and exposure to trauma. I have extensive experience providing this care with adults, children, couples and families. Almost 20 years ago, my passions of families, creativity and culture brought me to this work. Whether it's traditional or non-traditional, my expertise is understanding people within their unique family or social contexts.
