I am a solution-focused couple and family therapist, which means I am a good listener who will offer you concrete and useful feedback. My interventions focus on your current concerns instead of delving deep into your psyche. Here are what a couple of my former clients have said, "I found Jon to be supportive, understanding and sympathetic. I came to rely on his valuable perspective in dealing with our family's issues." "Jon helped my husband and me to recognize certain patterns that we were falling into and gave us tools to better our communication."
As a trained family therapist I can also work with you individually. As another former client said, "Jon was great at creating a safe environment for me to focus on my self evolvement...I have seen great improvements in my relationships and my life."
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 12 years. My education began as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan. I then earned my graduate degree at The State University, New York. I was on a Research Team in London, England before returning to NY for my post-graduate training.
