Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you someone who struggles to get your mate to hear or understand you?

Is it frustrating for you that others don’t grasp what you’re trying to tell them? Or do you find yourself at a loss as to how to express to your mate what you want to say? Perhaps you aren’t clear enough yourself as to what you’re feeling or how it can be expressed?

You’re not alone in that struggle! It can be difficult to clarify what goes on inside us. It can be especially hard in real time conversation with someone, especially so if there are strong feelings present (yours, theirs or both!)

Clear communication is a skill few of us learn growing up, but, as with any skill, it can be learnt. This also works for being able to hear accurately what is being said to you. It’s frustrating to want your partner to understand you, or really get where you’re coming from, but end up with the same old patterns or arguments happening.

These are skills I’d love to teach you. Once learnt, your experience in relating to others will significantly improve. I can teach men how to ‘get’ the women in their life, or women how to ‘understand’ where their partner is coming from. It’s not that there is something wrong with you, just a skill you haven’t yet learnt!

I look forward to hearing from you so we can begin to find solutions.

During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
