Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I provide a safe and non-judgmental setting in which couples and individual clients can explore, heal, and create movement in their lives. I help create a space of tolerance and acceptance in the areas of diversity, and long standing issues held close to the chest. My intention is to help people evoke patterns that affect them in a contrary way, which then makes changes possible.

I bring years of specialty training in relationship and sexuality counseling, and have conducted seminars in many countries in Europe, and at the Psychological Institute of Moscow.

I am an Adjunct Professor at Sonoma State University teaching Relationship and Sexuality Counseling in the graduate program.

Grief, illness, and bereavement counseling are also dear to my heart. For six years I worked with Hospice of Petaluma leading adult, teen, and children’s groups and working with individuals suffering from complicated grief issues.

Finally, I work with individuals with life transitions of any kind and any magnitude in order to move them gently and powerfully into the next phase of their process.

Each person is unique, and each therapy session is created accordingly. Focus, technique, and pace are all based on the individual needs of clients. Please feel free to contact me for a consultation.

During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
