Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hello, and thank you for looking at my listing. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing for about 20 years now and have worked with children, teens, and adults individually and in groups in agency settings as well as in private practice. I have many years of working with children especially, with an emphasis on helping those with anxiety disorders. Everyone has struggles from time to time. I believe that we all have the ability to overcome them and improve our lives, but sometimes just need a little help from someone with a different perspective. I tailor my treatment plans to the needs of my clients, identifying not only what is causing you difficulties but also your strengths so your work will be successful. I offer therapy on an individual basis and often with a group alternative for clients looking for an adjunct experience or to share their process with others. I am certified in equine assisted therapy, a very powerful style of therapy, that is available to us to include in your treatment plan. If you are interested to know more about me and the work we can do together, please go to my website at

Pamela J. Blawusch, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
