Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
In therapy you can feel and understand any pain, loss, fear, hurt, anger, conflict, and unfulfilled yearning. It is a safe environment where you can heal the emotional wounds of the past and present and see the patterns in your life that don't work and change them into ones that do. I help individuals become more aware, increase self-esteem and have a deeper sense of self and authenticity. I enjoy working with couples in creating more satisfaction and intimacy where both are fully presence and communicating with an open heart. The goals are collaborative yet my hope is that you will reach new levels of aliveness and satisfaction that will permeate your life in work, play, relationships, sexuality, and health. Taking the first step requires courage but it is one of the most important and rewarding life decisions. I invite you to call or email me with any questions.

Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
