Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you struggling with life and wondering what to do next? Do you wake up feeling sad and discouraged? Is it a challenge just to get through the day? Talking to someone about it can help. Life is constantly changing when changes happen, we go through stages of transition - from what we know to what is new to us. Transitions are a natural part of our lives. Without it, we remain static, sometimes stuck in what's not working for us. I specialize in Life Transitions Therapy for Couples and Women in Transition which focuses on working through transitional stages in the areas of premarital or partner commitment counseling, women's issues of career, healthy aging, changes in marital status to grief, loss and spirituality.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
