Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Often a person seeks counseling due to relationship difficulties. Psychotherapy can provide an opportunity for clients to explore both current and past relationships. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your personal concerns, to assist you to find your own solutions, and help you improve your relationships.

In addition to helping clients understand their relationships, I am a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner and bring medical expertise into my psychotherapy practice. With my combined background I aim to promote both physical and emotional wellness. I believe that there is a connection between one’s physical symptoms and one's emotional state. I work with clients to help them understand this mind/body connection.

I use an integrative approach to individualize treatment depending on my client’s personal needs. I am EMDR Certified. Feel free to contact me.

Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
