Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Carl Jung, once stated, "Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside wakes." Depth psychotherapy encourages and nurtures the process of looking inside and awakening. However, what often brings people to therapy is not the desire to awake, but a desire to find relief from turmoil and pain caused by life experiences. They want to alter behaviors, gain clarity or heal relationships. Depth psychotherapy involves the many layers of a person's being in this process of transformation. Following a depth approach, my style blends spirit and matter - soul work with solution-focused work. Often practical and creative solutions to life's issues emerge from this mixture of the numinous mundane. Website: http://www.katews.com
