Personal Statement:
I have worked in the psychology field since 1993. I earned a masters degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University which led to my current licensure as a marriage and family therapist. I then earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Professional School of Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). I am eligible to sit for licensure as a clinical psychologist. I provide psychotherapy services with individuals (adolescent, adult and elderly), couples, families, and groups. My practice is devoted to helping people obtain a more satisfying and productive life by overcoming a wide range of problems including, but not limited to, depression, low self-esteem, decreased energy and/or motivation, grief and loss – anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, excessive worry and stress – marriage and/or relationships struggling with intimacy, communication, trust, infidelity, jealousy, parenting and/or step-parenting, coping with teenagers, surviving divorce – job/career issues – anger management – chemical dependency – trauma and/or crisis – life transitions.
