Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Sometimes we find ourselves thinking "Ugh, how did I get to this place in my life?!" Or maybe it's "We were so in love once, how did we get to this sucky part? Is there any hope for us?" Feeling like this doesn't mean that there is necessarily something wrong with you. This thing called life is often stressful, and trying, and maybe even seemingly hopeless. But it's also beautiful and fun and awe inspiring too. That just gets covered up with the junk of everyday pressures and drama. My goal is to meet you where you are in life and walk with you as you move to where you want to be. Not only is it possible to have the life and mental clarity you imagine, it is doable. Over time, I've developed a therapeutic style that is real and practical with a bit of 'woowoo' thrown in. Therapy is a journey - at times, hard and emotional, but at other times, it's fun and practical. If pop culture references help you apply a principle to your life or if connecting with your higher power works for you, let’s use it. After all, this is about you and your journey. Write your own story instead of playing a character in a book everyone else around you is writing. Call me at 559-227-5500 ext 2 or visit my website at kellywintermft.com.
