Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide therapeutic and psychoeducational counseling services to clients (individuals, groups, couples, families and children) in a variety of settings. I like to explore a variety of therapeutic modalities to find what best suits each client. Every client is different and one size does not fit all when it comes to treatment. I like to listen to my clients and ensure that what I'm hearing is what they are saying. I also like to let them know they have choices, especially since it's their well-being that we are discussing. I am available for sessions by appointment and available evenings and most weekends. I take cash paying clients, and also offer a sliding scale for clients without insurance.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
