Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Therapy provides an opportunity to heal one's emotional wounds, learn to communicate better with others, improve interpersonal relationships, and personal growth. I am dedicated to assisting people make this journey. I see therapy as a cooperative effort, the therapist and the client working together to achieve the client's goals. We all have the capacity to heal and grow. I use EMDR as a tool to facilitate healing as well as other techniques. A family systems approach enables me to address not only the whole person but also their relationships with family: the bigger picture.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
