Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a versatile clinician who works with you in ways that meet your unique needs. I can be dynamic and creative to shake up "stuckness", or I can provide you the quiet support and the listening ear you've been seeking. We can work on solving immediate problems, or really dive deeply into your heart and mind, present and past. However we work, my goal is to collaborate with you to help you integrate and accept different parts of yourself and awaken your own inner resources and wisdom. I especially acknowledge the many outside forces that influence you -- family, culture and the mysterious ways life happens. We'll bring it all together as I support you to feel more empowered and peaceful ... and more YOU.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
