Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have wide experience helping clients achieve authenticity and awareness with their interpersonal relationships and life situations. I can assist in identifying and gaining insight of nonfunctional patterns in order to move lives and personal goals forward. I am EMDR therapy trained. I have successful experience working with teens and their families; supporting substance abuse recovery issues, as well as helping clients adjust and cope with grief, loss, serious illness, and life transitions. LGBTQ clients, their families and friends are always welcome. I have generally a client based, interactive, existential, and holistically themed psychotherapy approach. As I am EMDR trained I can address post trauma, or acute stress related issues.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
