Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Welcome...I'm glad you are here. Our work together in counseling is a chance for you and/or your family members to bring about the changes that will maximize your health and well-being. My approach is relationship driven and person-centered, which means I don’t try to fit you into the way I “do” therapy, but rather, I meet each person, couple, or family with an open-mind, deeply listening to the lived experience that is shared so together we can engage in the healing process in a way that is respectful to you and your family’s values, perceptions, and beliefs. Whatever brought you to this place, please know that things can change and that I will dedicate myself to helping you find the path toward healing and growth that you are looking for. Please email me for a free initial consultation so I can learn more about how I can help. Things will get better....

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
