Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I see therapy as a sacred space to create healing and change. I believe everyone is unique and has great potential. My style is compassionate, interactive and supportive, providing a safe place to make changes. I quickly get to the heart of the matter and design the counseling session uniquely for each individual, couple or family. If you are confused, stuck, overwhelmed, hopeless and want to make a change I will help you make that change. I facilitate your shift, from ways that are not working, into ways that do. I work with people that are in crises, personal growth, reevaluating his or her life purpose and wanting to find their deeper meaning in life. I look forward to assisting you to create a happy, fulfilling life. I have been licensed since 1987 as a Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals, couples and families. I feel honored and love helping others to reach their greatest potential. I draw upon over twenty years of experience to tailor the counseling sessions from various psychological modalities, approaches and techniques. There are times in life when we might feel lost or troubled. It is at those times when we have the greatest potential for much growth and change in our life. When reaching out in counseling we can meet together, sort things out and get clear what your goals are and the way you might want your life to look like and become. I am very open to working with you where you are in your life and what your needs might be at this time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have or any way I can help be of help. I can be reached at my two numbers of 310-284-3699 or 818-773-7685. I look forward to talking with you and being of assistance.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
