Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Sometimes bad things happen to good people. It leaves you wondering, “Will I always feel this bad?” “Will I always be this alone?” “Is there any help for me?” Maybe you are having a hard time sleeping, memories that won’t go away, or hopeless thinking. You’ve probably tried many things to feel better. If you’ve had a lot of therapy, you may have noticed that you understand why you feel the way you do, but you still feel bad. Talk therapy can only take you so far.

That’s why I co-founded Cutting Edge Counseling. I use all the same skills that most therapists do, plus gentle, accelerated tools to help you leave behind upsetting experiences and get on with your life. Real freedom from suffering is possible.

If this sounds intriguing, please call me at 310.915.5950 for a non-charge telephone consultation. Let me know the best times to reach you to discuss your concerns and see how we can work together to solve them.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
