Personal Statement:
Lianne Avila is dedicated to helping adults and children that have been touched by Cancer. In January of 2001 she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After going through a long nine months of treatment, she got the news she was cancer free. Her passion is to help people thrive after the diagnosis of cancer. She also helps people restore their life after the loss of a loved one. She has experience facilitating support groups for women that have a Breast Cancer diagnosis. Additionally, Lianne has facilitated many adolescent and children support groups. She understands how divorce can impact a child’s life and is committed to helping them during that time. She has experience using play and art therapy with children. She also has extensive experience working with children with behavior problems, Attention Deficit Disorder, and learning disorders. She has a sincere passion in helping adults and children through depression. She is a certified EMDR therapist and specializes in stress reduction. Lianne graduated from John F. Phillip Copitch, PhD

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
