Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Counseling can restore balance to your life. Treat the underlying issues and restore balance to your lif and your relationships. You CAN heal. Therapy CAN help. Are you looking for a therapist because your relationships are out of sorts? Feeling stuck, depressed, anxious, isolated or afraid? Troubled relationships with yourself, your life partner, your children, your parents, your co-workers? Relationships effect all aspects of our lives. Destructive communication patterns, anger, substance abuse and life's traumas affect relationships. I believe that trauma and other life disruptions are at the heart of emotional pain. You don't have to live with emotional pain any longer. Treat the underlying issues and restore balance to your relationships. Substances and lifestyle addictions are coping mechanism. Everyone wants healthier relationships whether it is with themselves, their loved ones or their co-workers. Counseling can restore balance to your life. I have office hours in the evenings and on Saturday. I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor and anger management facilitator. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and evidenced based practices. I believe that given the opportunity, people can heal. Therapy can help. Call me and let’s talk about it

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
