Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I encourage you a potential client to come for one or several visits to see how I work and decide if the connection between us can provide a safe, nourishing place to explore your inner and outer challenges and burdens. I see individual women, men, children, also couples. I work with a wide range of client issues. Women-in-transition and Jungian shadowwork through dreams are two special interests. Over ten years on CSULB University Counseling staff teaching practical conflict resolution, creating healthy relationships, self-esteem tools, stress reduction, etc. Terrap phobia center consultant. I believe clients benefit from a therapist who continues working on her own life issues. In our fast-paced world where loneliness and lies, addictive behaviors and unrealistic expectations, restlessness and avoiding intimacy are commonplace, I offer an alternative -- a relaxed place to listen together to your anxieties, disappointments, body symptoms, childhood 'scripts' and fears, also your strengths, desires, creative outlets and inner wisdom. I will encourage small steps toward self-compassion, increased vitality, life-affirming choices and personal meaning and satisfaction.
