Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a psychotherapist in practice for over 20 years. In my work with individuals and couples I attempt to provide an environment in which clients are able to face challenges and overcome obstacles that impede emotional growth.

My approach is interactive and collaborative, exploring both the past and the present. I believe that respect and compassion are necessary in order to facilitate change. I work with clients not only to identify the issues that stand in the way of attaining more satisfying and fulfilling lives, but also to identify the strengths each person already possesses.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Lodi, CA 95240

If you are thinking about therapy, let me first commend you. I know it can be hard to think about sharing your problems with someone else. But something I have learned by working in this field and from my life is that problems are to be shared. We are all in this together. I try to take a balanced approach in therapy between acceptance and change.
