Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for my clients. I believe that my job as a therapist is to work in a partnership with clients in learning more about themselves, resolving past pain and then achieving personal happiness. I do not believe in forcing my lifestyle or goals on a client but rather helping them to find out who they are, what goals they have for themselves and what positive and healthy ways they can achieve these goals. Personal growth and happiness is a goal that is unique to each individual. There is not just one way to achieve happiness and I will help each client find their own unique and personalized way to obtain their goals.

My specialty is working with women and the many issues that women struggle with in today's society; depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem, substance abuse, childhood trauma, abusive relationships (both emotionally and physically abusive), codependency, assertiveness and boundary setting and of course, stress management.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
