Dr. Lisa Cooney, LMFT, Master ThetaHealer™, Licensed Psychotherapist, Doctor of Psychology with a concentration in Consciousness and Spirituality and Socially Engaged Spirituality, International Facilitator in Israel, and renowned group facilitator in the United States. Dr. Lisa is the CEO of LEI - the Life Empowerment Institute™ and for over 20 years she has taught a trans-disciplinary model of healing that Empowers Individuals, Groups and Businesses to Awaken, Release and Create ~ Empower Your Life! Dr. Lisa has specialized training in Trans-disciplinary Breath work, Psychodrama, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Dream Work, Shamanism, and is a ThetaHealing™ Master with a Certificate of Science, as well as a Reiki Master. She follows a spiritual teacher named Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma), who is known as the ‘hugging saint’, and has a close affinity toward the entire world’s spirituality as evidenced in her dissertation, “Finding and Forming Spiritual Identity through Cooperative Inquiry!” She believes voluntary service or ‘seva’ is an extraordinary way to stay humble, egoless, and in gratitude and service for humanity.
