Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
When we run out of inner resources and our regular support systems are not able to give us what we need, a professional can help us change what can be changed. Both children and adults need guides into new territory. I see my job as providing a nurturing environment for exploration of self and self in relation to others. Whatever our age, we are creative beings and follow unique paths. With compassion, life wisdom and a sense of humor we can find solutions to everyday problems, integrate the past and imagine the future. For some of us, our capacities for living life more fully have been restricted. To open to new possibilities, I offer my clients a steady presence, over 35 years of experience in the field and my love of the work.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
