Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you see your own issues, but can't seem to think or "will" yourself into more productive behavior? Perhaps you have a wonderful mate and family, but you are stuck in the same old arguments and frustrations, and you know your family's communication could be better. Maybe you feel angry, or sad, and you just don't know why. Perhaps you are hoping to come to terms with something very sad that has happened to you, either recently or long ago. If you want to feel better about yourself and others, you have come to the right place.

About My Practice

Office Hours
By Appointment. Evenings and weekends available.
Services
My job is to help you unravel the issues that have been getting in your way; to clear away the old assumptions and develop a new take on things. To come to a place where you feel self-assured in handling whatever comes your way. I admire the strength, resolve, bravery, vulnerability, grace and humor in people who are striving to overcome obstacles and become their best selves. I take a fairly direct, yet loving, and down to earth approach. Many people have helped me in my life, I am honored to now help others.

Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
