Personal Statement:
Lori Karny, LCSW maintains a psychotherapy private practice in Beverly Hills. She works with adults of all ages, couples, families and facilitates psychotherapy groups. Her areas of interest include the treatment of depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship problems, loss, trauma, grief and aging.

She has experience helping adults of all ages to explore relationship problems, to develop personal autonomy and explore professional creativity. Lori facilitates several psychotherapy groups, which focus on developing strategies to cope with life changes and another on exploring creativity and expanding personal modes of expression.

Lori holds master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work and Gerontology. She enjoys teaching, training and supervising counselors and interns. She is a Clinical Supervisor at the Maple Counseling Center and an Instructor at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
