Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My style is warm, interactive, and practical. I work with clients to figure out why they are feeling stuck or overwhelmed in some area of their lives. I find that this understanding is a powerful tool for making positive changes and living more happily. My approach is to explore the internal forces that underlie how we tend to act and feel in certain situations. These forces include emotions, patterns of thinking, and memories, and are often difficult to fully see or understand by ourselves. This is where therapy can help. The first step is finding a therapist who is a good fit. I welcome you to contact me so that we schedule an initial consultation and you can get a sense of whether my approach feels helpful for you.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Through the awareness continuum and other techniques, I help interested participants develop a stronger sense of themselves and their surroundings, and most importantly, how they get in the way of life’s natural rhythm and flow. My clients invariably grow a deeper acceptance of who they are and thereby become freer to express their authentic selves in accordance with the requirements of the moment.
