Personal Statement:
I work with many health issues which include: stress, couples, relationships.adults abused as children, children who are abused, Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Substance abuse, Trauma, blended family issues, step-parenting problems, parenting skills, addictions, spiritual issues, life changes, grief/loss issues, anger management, and chronic pain issues. My focus of treatment is using Cognitive Therapy and also I utilize many other therapy model techniques. I am a Court and Probation Department approved provider for perpetrators of domestic violence. In addition, I have an extensive work history with victims of domestic violence. Also, at times I work with my wife, Debbie Edwards, LMFT with couples in relationship counseling. My belief is that every person has the capacity to allow positive change which can give them the ability to live in the world in a more peaceful, compassionate, understanding, and less stressful way.
