Personal Statement

Personal Statement:

In practice for over 17 years, I serve all of the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. I am on the provider list of numerous HMOs and PPOs and use sliding scale fees for most clients. Therapy and counseling is focused and oriented to resolve issues and problems as quickly and effectively as possible. My experience is extensive, encompassing both individual and family counseling. Emphasis is placed on establishing healthy relationships and increasing self esteem, while managing personal and work related stress and anxiety. Individual counseling concentrates on communication and the process of establishing meaningful and lasting relationships. Family counseling focuses on interpersonal relationships, parenting skills, and adolescent and child issues. Other areas of specialty include Co-Dependency, ACA, life transitions, personal growth, and grief and loss. I am conveniently located off the 118 freeway at Tampa, north of the Northridge Mall.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
