Personal Statement:
Mahshid Hager is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has clinical experience working with children, teenagers, adults, families and blended families, working in variety of settings throughout San Diego. She has worked with a diverse population and treated symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges and parenting issues. Mahshid has specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, SE, working with those who have experienced trauma. Somatic Experiencing is a body awareness approach to trauma. Mahshid incorporates SE into other forms of therapy to help clients developing a "felt" sense of setting clearer and more intentional interpersonal boundaries. Mahshid is fluent in English, Farsi and German.
