Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
In my private practice I have clients who range upward from the very young. They come individually, in groups, in families and as couples. They come for many reasons. Since I believe in the inherent power of people to grow and heal, I see myself as facilitator, one who assists in the search for answers. I provide a gentle, compassionate, and confidential setting for my clients to explore the challenges of their lives. Being a therapist involves my whole person. The integration of my intuitive wisdom, spirituality, and problem solving skills has led to my development as a highly creative therapist, author and speaker. I am happiest when I am providing an opportunity for others to become aware of their talents and capabilities and facilitating the development of these strengths, thus validating and honoring each person's unique place in the world.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
