Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
A happy life is strongly tied to our relationships with others. Building connection to family or friends is essential to everyone. Children and adults alike thrive when their relationships are healthy, and grieve or struggle when those ties are lost. Improving your ability to connect can make a world of difference. Often people isolate themselves because we are too overwhelmed, children and teens often struggle with developmental transitions, adults go through stressful changes at work or home, social settings can feel demanding, or addiction is taking over. Loneliness is not necessary. Let me help figure out what is in the way so that you can feel safe in the world and cared for by others. Life is too hard to live it alone.
