Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
If you’re struggling with your relationships or feel frustrated, tired, anxious, or depressed; it may be due to sabotaging thoughts, emotional hijacking, or simply not yet knowing what to do. You may have suffered a tragic loss or trauma, or be stuck in a developmental stage or way of life that blocks the very relationships that you deeply desire and need. You may have even begun to use unproductive or addictive coping strategies that now make you feel totally alone and out of control.

Given grace, truth and a skilled therapist to process and explore new ways of thinking, coping, and communicating; I believe people can grow into their full potential and experience more peace, joy and productivity. With both a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Communications, it is my privilege to assist you in this process. I also have advanced training through ACEP to provide EFT designed to relieve the emotional turmoil suffered by many who have experienced trauma.

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
