Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
While using interactional therapies for couples and family to improve communication and stop reactivity, I use many modalities in individual therapy including cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, hypnosis, energy therapies for trauma, stress, anxiety. I tailor my therapy to client's need, beliefs and style. I have taught classes in stress reduction, visualization and meditation. These classes incorporated the pinciples now made popular in The Secret in addition to dealing with blocking beliefs. I strongly believe that beliefs, feelings, and stressful life situations impact the body, and chronic body states impact thoughts and feelings. . By creating a safe place for this integration of mind and body, I believe healing spontaneously occurs. My faith is in the client's healing process and desire for wholeness. I am a facilitator.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
