Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you feel like you are running on empty--that you are weary from conficts and heartache, losses and challenges? Well it can be different!!! With a skilled Therapeutic partner, the fear that this sadness and helplessness is your story will begin to ease and change. It would be my privilege to offer you a safe, non-judgmental, support collaboration where you will explore and overcome the obstacles that stand between you and a greater sense of clarity, strength and resilience. Whether your issues are long-term or recent, we will integrate your inherent self-knowledge as you segue from confusion to awareness to choice. As a therapist of considerable clinical as well as personal life experience, I will bring wisdom, warmth, and astute intuition into our theoretically ecletic, yet strength-based and solution-focused therapeutic relationship. I am happy to offer a free initial 15-minute telephone consultation. Take your next positive step toward and call (310) 749-2585 or e-mail marlenemft@gmail.com to arrange a muutally-convenient time.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
