Personal Statement:
Martha “Marti” McClellan-Morehouse, the owner of StepINtuit Healing Arts Oasis, identifies as a Wisdom Coach / Counselor & Co-Creation Facilitator. She also is a licensed marriage and family therapist (Board of Behavioral Sciences license MFC 43084), motivational speaker and entrepreneur and advocate. Recently, Martha developed the concepts of the "Wisdom Chair" and "Noticing” as tools for co-creating well-being. These concepts involve the co-development of customized needs assessments, interventions and monitoring systems. The processes are co-designed by the client and Martha to assure that clients feel valued and in charge of the outcome of their health and wellness program.Martha has partnered with several innovative practitioners, like Jenenne Macklin and Robin Youngblood, to encourage, support and co-create health and wellness through both traditional and alternative methodologies. Her message has been delivered through presentations, workshops and lectures such as: Communities Living Together, Growing Together, and Learning Together King or Queen for a Day Social The Crone Social Changing Destructive Adolescent Behavior D.I.V.A.S. Write- Finding Your Voice by Journaling Your Best Life The Practice of Self-love/Self-care, While Providing Care for Others For a number of years, she has facilitated workshops and trainings for individuals and groups with the intent of improving participant’s emotional, mental, physical, social, intuitive and spiritual wellness. She has facilitated trainings for organizations, like Outward Bound Los Angeles, D’Veal Family and Youth Services and Pacific Clinics. Martha has also collaborated with several Los Angeles County based organizations, including Day One, Pasadena City College and Pasadena Unified School District to assist with increasing the potential for students’ academic and social success. Since moving to Sacramento, California, she has facilitated events and group gatherings at Healing Alternative Meditation Center. She has been recognized by these organizations for exceptional, authentic, wise counsel and as a treasure chest of resourcefulness. Martha served as a youth, family and organizational advocate for over 20 years. To augment her formal education, she has training in mindfulness, creating art for healing and The Native American Medicine Wheel. In addition, Martha received training as wilderness guide, and a Certified Parent Project Facilitator. She speaks passionately about integrating the diverse principles of her training in a way that can assist others with achieving their personal and professional goals. As a facilitator, Martha is committed to collaborative efforts that create positive personal, professional and social change, as well as health, wellness and prosperity. Martha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from California State University, Northridge. She completed her Master of Arts in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California.

Our signature presentations are designed to assure that individual participants learn skills that lead to living a best life and that organizational clients are able to improve productivity and increase profitability as a direct result of employees living healthier, happier lives and by addressing issues within the workplace.
