Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
There are times in our lives when it becomes difficult to find the answers we've been searching for, when our external world becomes so loud we're unable to hear that internal voice of wisdom. It can be during those times that a focused hour of introspection, conversation and reflection can be helpful in finding those answers we've been unable to access by ourselves. My goal is to facilitate that search, whether the focus is relationship, life direction, grieving or making life rewarding. I have trained with relationship specialists Dr John Gottman and Dr. Harville Hendrix (founder of Imago Relationship Therapy). I enjoy sharing with my clients the information, skills, coping mechanisms and insights their research has produced regarding how to have and nurture a successful, long term relationship. More and more research has shown the importance of the awareness and acknowledgement of the mind/body/spirit connection. Discovering the effect of our thoughts on our behaviors, our physical health, and our sense of contentment and happiness can become an essential ingredient in creating a life we enjoy.
