Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
"Anything or anyone that does not bring you alive, is too small for you."-David Whyte. Therapy is the process of freeing you from all the pain and patterns that keep you small, and keep you suffering. Together we can empower you to step into your fullest experience of Self. My process involves not only exploring and resolving past history and trauma, but most importantly translating that insight into practical action to allow you to lead a more balanced, authentic, creative life. My approach is compassionate and collaboarative. I incorporate mindfulness, and emotional regulation skills training into my work, to provide concrete tools for clients to improve their lives and wellbeing. The part of you that is seeking professional help is the very part of you that is capable of changing your life. Wherever you are right now, I encourage you to reach out, and be hopeful about your healing. Take the first step.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
