Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My goal is to provide a safe, caring, welcoming space for exploration, and to encourage an open collaboration. Uncovering old patterns of thinking and feeling, presents an opportunity to let go of painful and limiting habits. Developing new ways to hold and tolerate feelings leads to new ways of coping with present challenges, and hopefully, to a life more fully lived and fully experienced.

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and life transition problems, as well as relationship issues.

I work with couples to engage each other in conversation; exploring reasons why sharing has stopped, become uncomfortable, and/or something to avoid. Partners discover more effective ways to engage, and techniques for ‘how to’ share - - joys intimacy, and challenges. I believe that a life together is a process that depends on listening and talking to each other.

I work with Adults, Adolescents and Couples.
