Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist with over 23 years of counseling and teaching in the Christian Community. My specialties are trauma resolution, anxiety, depression, and advanced marital skill training. Like most therapists, I work with a wide variety of issues with individuals, couples and families. I’m a Diplomate and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. I am also an Approved Consultant and Certified in EMDR. (EMDR is a psychotherapeutic methodology for the rapid resolution of traumatic/upsetting memories). I have taught for Fuller Theological Seminary, Northern California Bible College and California State University Hayward. I have also presented various workshops throughout the Bay area. I have a passion for showing people, like yourself, how to reach their full potential. I love helping people go from feeling sick in some areas of their lives to achieving healing using innovative EMDR methodology. Besides all above, I have a unique ability to come alongside people and gain their respect and trust. I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential.

Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
