Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hello there! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who have worked for various non-profits and in many different school settings, including higher education. I have had clients from many walks of life, but realized that I get the most pleasure when working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. At these critical periods of trying to find themselves and develop into who they envision themselves to be, it is pertinent to their growth and well-being that any unresolved issues be addressed now. I help my clients take a deeper look into the core of what is impacting them, collaborate with them to explore what they would like to change or maintain in their lives, and work with them to gain the tools that they need to work through past and/or current issues that are negatively impacting them. I meet my clients where they're at emotionally and provide them with support and empathy, while also adequately challenging them to see any areas in which they may be able to modify to improve their relationships and their lives. Each and every client is unique, so treatment in therapy requires a specialized and catered approach. Therefore, I work from an eclectic approach, meaning that I incorporate various aspects of different therapy models to best address the needs of my clients. Want to know more about me? Visit!

Through the awareness continuum and other techniques, I help interested participants develop a stronger sense of themselves and their surroundings, and most importantly, how they get in the way of life’s natural rhythm and flow. My clients invariably grow a deeper acceptance of who they are and thereby become freer to express their authentic selves in accordance with the requirements of the moment.
