Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Often life presents us with challenges we try to overcome. Sometimes we are successful and sometimes we need a helping hand; we need someone to listen to us. This interpersonal contact cannot be found at a bookstore in a self-help book, but with a professional and confidential advocate. I work with individuals, couples and families as well as with children of any age. I have training in domestic violence, sexual assault, and grief group therapy. I offer brief or ongoing therapy; I am available days, nights, and Saturdays; sliding scale; and the first session is free. My way of treatment is based on your life, your needs, and your goals. I look at clients as a whole person. How all pieces of your life work or not, and from here I design the treatment that will help you make positive changes in your life. I believe that satisfaction comes from change. My ability to listen, analyze, and collaborate with you will assist you to achieve your goals making your life easier and more fulfilling. If you are ready to take control and enjoy life again, call and make an appointment with me at (714) 651-7753.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
