Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a Filipino therapist in San Francisco who helps women and non-binary folx work through anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationships difficulties, old patterns, and setting boundaries. I see adult children of narcissistic parents, those who have a loud inner-critic and those who identify as people-pleasers. I serve as a guide, companion and ally in their healing journey so they can live a more fulfilled and liberated life. I also work with couples looking to improve their communication and trust. Having a safe place to open up difficult and uncomfortable conversations with your partner can make a world of a difference and help to create more intimacy in the relationship. I am committed to creating a welcoming space for all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, nationalities, classes, religions, abilities, sizes, and neurodiversities. I am an advocate for social justice and equal representation.

Phillip Copitch, PhD

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
