Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you feel alone, anxious, stressed, or need support to work through a challenging time in your life? Or maybe you just haven't quite put your finger on it yet? Whatever your reason for seeking counseling, I am here to support you. It is important for me to provide a space where you can be your true authentic self. I emphasize overall wellness; including mind, body, spirit, and emotional balance. Together we will identify areas that need more attention, build on your strengths, and achieve your goals. I provide counseling to individuals, children, couples, and families (biological or chosen). I am an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, born and raised in Los Angeles. I founded 'Indigenous Circle of Wellness' to provide quality mental wellness services, that are grounded in healing from a holistic and culturally inclusive approach. In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I provide mental wellness workshops, trainings, and consulting services; specifically for organizations and anyone working with the Native American/Alaska Native community.

Phillip Copitch, PhD

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
